The Prosper Group seeks a
results-oriented professional with experience in creating and implementing data-driven
online advertising campaigns to serve corporations, non-profit organizations,
trade associations and political candidates.
The Online Advertising
Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and optimizing
paid media campaigns across all advertising platforms. Candidates must
demonstrate an ability to recognize strong creative and ad copy in addition to implementation
skills.
This full-time position
requires strong communications skills and understanding of the principles of
direct marketing and how they are applied in the digital space. The position
will be located in Indianapolis, IN or Alexandria, VA.
Job
Responsibilities
- Program and Project Management. Plan and execute all Search Engine Marketing, Social Media, Display, and Digital Video advertising campaigns from budget creation to client reporting. Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to optimize landing pages.
- Strategic Execution. Assist the Accounts team in developing the strategic direction of each campaign and provide recommendations based on client objectives. Measure and report performance of all campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs). Evaluate emerging technologies and targeting methods, and provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Testing and Optimization. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on those insights. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
- Reporting and Analytics. Monitor the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns and report performance victories to the Accounts team. Utilize website analytics and other tracking tools to generate regular reports. Provide top-line analysis for client reporting and identify growth opportunities.
Required
qualifications
·
2+ years of online advertising experience, preferably in a political
campaign or agency setting
·
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts,
strategy, and best practices with a proven track record of success
·
Experience with online advertising platforms and management
tools (Google Adwords, DoubleClick, Facebook Power Editor, Twitter, Google
Analytics)
·
Clear understanding of the various tactics and networks used to
meet certain objectives
·
Familiarity with the use of social media for marketing and a
strong commitment to staying in tune with the latest trends, tools and
advancements
·
Experience with CPM, CPC, CPL, and CPA buying models
·
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
·
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables,
VLOOKUP, IF, IS, and Arrays
·
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight
deadlines and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced work
environment
·
Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
·
Flexibility with time and schedule to meet deadlines
·
A positive and enthusiastic attitude
